Hopefully not as crazy a day as yesterday. I do have an eye dr. appointment midday, which is good because my glasses are getting quite old

Gonna be a nice day, I might wash the cars this morning to get the salt off of them and then I’ll go hit some golf balls this afternoon if the driving range is open.

In the summer, we get raccoons and skunks tearing into our trash bags so we have to wait till morning to put out the trash bags. In the winter, they tend to hibernate so we can put them out the night before. Our recycling and garden trash is picked up every week. Our recycling has to be separated into either paper products or metal/plastics...in 2 separate boxes. We get the occasional fox strolling round, but we have wheelie bins like below, so they would have to be big to knock them over
We have those same bins for our compostable garbage. Raccoons just would knock them over. Then I tried attaching bungee cables to hold them shut and the raccoons learned how to remove them too. I gave up and stopped using these. When my son moved into his house, he got one of these but half the height (no longer top heavy) and with a “dial” type of lock on top. Works great for him.

Yesterday I posted in another thread that I got my second COVID shot. I woke up this morning feeling ok but got really tired about halfway through the day. It’s been a difficult day at work. Outside of that i feel ok. Hopefully it passes and things are better tomorrow.

Eye doctor appointment is over and nothing unexpected, thank goodness! Being diabetic, I get my eyes checked every year. My prescription hasn’t changed in 9 years so i now have 4 different pairs of glasses that I can interchange without affecting my vision.

I did exactly what I had planned for today. My wife and I went out looking for some furniture late this morning. After we got home , I changed two of my soffit floodlights before heading out to the driving range to hit some golf balls. Then, when I got home, I washed both of our cars. When my daughter got home at 6pm, I snarfed back my dinner and went out to wash her car before it got dark. It was a busy day and I feel good though I’m sure I’ll be sore tomorrow. 🤕

I have a little collection of glasses that are fairly current prescriptions too. Mine hasn't really changed much in the past years other than slight astigmatism adjustments

It was like someone removed my batteries, I felt ok otherwise. I was told that it normally fades away quickly, hopefully back to normal tomorrow.

Feeling stiff and sore today. Gonna make Costco run this morning and then we need to prune a tree in the yard. After that, I’m open pretty much free.

I'm dreading the coming time change this weekend. I've been waking up (groggy) without an alarm clock , but that extra hour of sleep I'm going to miss will put an end to that.

Not a bad day today. Busy at work but nothing has really gone wrong. Couple fire drills but that's fine. Dentist was a non-event (thank goodness)!

My least favourite weekend of the year DST never really bothered me, but I know a lot of guys really hate it. I'm probably going away with my wife overnight that night anyway so I will just sleep an hour later!

I look forward to DST....longer days (more daylight) means getting more time to do stuff.

I look forward to DST....longer days (more daylight) means getting more time to do stuff. Me too. Losing an hour of sleep that night kind of stinks but the time change facilitates more daylight hours when gigs can occur outside

I'd rather pick one and stick with it. The change (Both ways) messes me up.

The spring is worse as we lose an hour. But yeah, not a fan.
Had a good online meeting with some friends tonight, and heard good news from another friend that their health issues are improving (Non Covid) And some other good health news from family too.
So things to be thankful for for sure.

Well decent start to the day today, considering that I hardly slept at all last night. It was one of those nights where I woke up at 2:00 and didn't get back to sleep until 6:00

Highlight of my day so far. Took my van for a little trip out. Not sure whether I should have done something like a bloke in Turkey did
