I tried those "triangle" picks many years ago(late 60s), but never got used to them. to each their own, though.

I don't really like them either--but had to try them out And partly it's for the collection. The closest I could get to liking are the Dunlop rounded Triangles--but I mostly use those on my homemade double picks. (Similar in size & shape to the white one there--which was my main pick at one point.)

I did previously post the Snark Picks that were the Tortoise style ones--and I mentioned a celluloid series I might just back & buy. Well...

I recently got these, haven't had a chance to check them out--btu they shouldn't be that different than other ones I've tried--maybe bit more flex to them.

I used to use the blue 1 mm Tortex picks on an Ovation because they toned it down a bit or warmed it up whatever.
I found the Tortex pick took something away from the tone of my Martin guitars so use the Fender 351s on them sounds better to me.
I'm not a Mason but I'm probably a journyman guitar player so if you could get 351 heavies with the square and compass on them then that's what I'd buy .. lol

I do like bevelled edges on a pick when I play my Mustang.

I use Fender Heavy Teardrop picks, I think they are discontinued but I bought a couple hundred at Cosmo music thru Amazon. I hate when the tips round out.
