Tonight I played my 2020 335, 2015 Firebird V and my 2020 Broadcaster. Of the 3 the Broadcaster is the most balanced across all the strings, right sounding chords, clear and basically no issues guitar. The other ones are very good but the Broadcaster has a kind of reliable get the job done feel to it.

My ‘75 is like that while my ‘72 Thinline RI with humbuckers sounds great but not quite as balanced.

I once played a Les Paul style guitar like that--I don't remember if it was a Trussart or not though, and they don't currently have one on their website. It was cool, not as heavy as I though i would be.
Perhaps a Zemaitis. Our other guitarist has one
Not a Zemaitis. (I've played some of the recent re-issues, etc) Those are solid bodies with metal on the top. the one I was referencing was like the Tele you posted--hollow & all that.

So here's a video that fits this thread. Wherein a guitar player explains why he switched from Strats to Teles.

I just bought my first Tele ever and found this thread interesting. It's 2019 MIC Squire, beautiful guitar!
