Strings are a very personal part of playing guitar.
I use Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings on my Electrics.
I use Elixir Custom Lights on my acoustic.
What do you folks use?

Mostly Pyramids with a few exceptions. Pure Nickel .010 - .046 on my electrics, .012 or .013 sets (depending on tuning) for my electric slide guitars. .011 or .012 sets on standard acoustics, .013 sets for slide (sometimes heavier)This is where I sometimes treat myself to a set of Newtone strings - pricey but they seem to last forever. Newtone has a special set for acoustic lap steel guitars which I use for example. I still have a couple of Richard Ryder Stout Slide sets (.0145 - .054) which maybe will go on one of my electric lap steels (tuned to open E).

Rotosound Pinks (.09 gauge).
I also like Dean Markley Blue Steels but received a couple of bad packs so stopped using them and now stick to the Rotos because I never have problems with them.

Blue Steels sound good, last, but they never soften up to touch if that makes sense... I used them on a Lester to try out and took them off... Sounded damn good but felt like barbwire... and I have callouses, play guitar almost every single day...and love Rotosounds on bass... I could not get used to those strings.... I have some on the counter at the shop marked down, trying to get rid of them... I think you could use the low E to saw a tree down....

That's weird, I always liked the feel of Blue Steels and my callouses won't be as hard as yours I don't think.

Always Fender 150s.
10-46, except on the mahogany Tele, that likes 11-48.

I use nickel wrap OR nickel plated steel wrap, depending on the guitar. Usually 10 - 46, but lately been trying some 9 - 42.
Generally D'addarios, GHS, or Fenders sometimes.
On my jazzers I use Pyramids or Thomas-Infeld: flatwounds.

Ernie Ball Slinkies on my Strat. 10-46.
I used to favor GHS Boomers because Gilmour, but I always had Slinkies on hand as spares for the unwound strings.
Don't remember when I switched. Slinkies are cheap, consistent, and take overbends like they were made for it.

Yeah, me to, Ernie ball regular slinky (10's) is what I've used forever. I can't deal with 9's (super slinky) just to light for me. Used 11's for a couple of years then went back.

Different for different guitars for me. Boomers, Fender Bullets, D'Addarios, Eliixers, or Ernie Balls, depending. Yep. I'm odd.

I tend to buy DR Tite-Fit or Pure Blues, but I'll try most anything. Loved Pyramids that I got when I renewed a subscription to a gear mag, but since I can't find'em retail I keep trying others. I got a gift certificate to local Mom & Pop music store and bought several different makes and gauges - doesn't seem to make a difference - I still suck.
I'm back to 9's after doing 10's for about 3 years and 11's for a year. I prefer the feel of 9's - bought a set of 8's and took'em off after the first gig. I could probably learn to like them, but I kept over bending notes.
I use DR's on my Bass fiddles as well
