Same goes for the various lines made by Godin (Seagull, Simon & Patrick, Art & Lutherie, etc.).

I gave my '70s Yamaha classical to my son. Wisht I has it back.
ah. I see Colchar has bestowed five stars on himself while the peons get one or two. Ultimate power corrupts ultimately.
And so....the refugees come to their new overlord. For shame.

I love my Seagull, but I still have not taken a picture of it. I must do that soon and share. It's perfect for me, weight, size and love the tone.
I tried out a few other make/brands but this one did it for me.

Yama never had to do countless stupid ass promo blitzes, they sold musical equip at a steady pace. You play their stuff, you want to buy it. That good.
In shops I worked, somebody would say 'don't they build motorcycles?' I'd say yeah, along with everything from car engines to musical equipment....all of it good stuff...but do you actually think the motorcycles and guitars are built by the same workers?

The body shape is perfect for me and I love how the neck feels. No more wrist ache! lol

Shoot me a PM (here or MLP) with any questions. The whole thing is new to all of us. What the hell would you expect with me, colchar, and edro moderating the place?

No questions really. Just hard to split my time between here and 'there' and navigate without missing something. It'll just take me awhile.
I do have a question for Ed though. I think you said you were having trouble with some music aps on the Ipad II after upgrading the OS. I haven't upgraded, but I'm not able to use Jamup Pro. Now for sone reason. It launches but before the screen fully loads it close out. I still see the red activity bar at the top...but can't access the program. Any idea what's going on?
also...what's the penalty for a derail on this here forum?

Did a search about it shutting down, and searched on their forums, no joy.... Try doing a power down on the ipad and then after booting it back up, run just that and see if it barfs.... Wish I could be more help....

Me too. Lol. Tried every permutation I could think of. Nope. I guess I'll have to contact troubleshooters at the seller's site. I think the problem arose when I upgraded Jamup. Didn't read all the info first. I think updates were mainly targeted to the 8 and 9 OSs. Dammit!

back in the 70s, a friend of mine had a Yamaha acoustic. I was impressed. it was a nice playing and nice sounding guitar. however, Lynn passed away back in 1976 from a motorcycle accident. I wonder whatever happened to that guitar.
for myself, I have an Alverez acoustic that I bought in '74 not long after I got out of the Army. it still sounds pretty good, too.

I tried out a few other make/brands but this one did it for me. I took a couple of pics of it while it was here in Tejas awaiting transshipment: It's a lovely guitar, and worth every penny. I've played a few other of the same make and model, and they were all guitars of amazing price/quality ratio -- all played excellent, and very comfortable. Nice, ringing tone with plenty of shimmer, along with the guts to project bass-string riffing.
