I'll probably have to book a 60 minute time for a hair cut once I get around to it. Depends on how difficult the cut is. You want it buzzed, they can do it in 10 minutes! No to the buzz cut But if I lose substantial hair--I could see going that route. I am picky about who cuts my hair--it's not for amateurs--no matter who they are.

My barber uses the “Ring my Barber” app so that you make an appointment and that way he doesn’t have people waiting around in the shop. My last haircut was early March and I was planning on going around Easter but they issued a 4 week lockdown closing all barber shops and hair salons. So I booked for this coming Tuesday...then they extended the lockdown for another 2 weeks. So today I rebooked for the end of the month. We’ll see what happens. I’ve never had such terrible bedhead when I wake up as I have right now. I usually cut my hair once a month and I’m going on 2 months now and the back of my head is starting to take on a “mullet” appearance. if they extend the lockdown any further, I’m just going to get the hair clippers from my son and get my wife to give me a trim. Believe me the wife cut is convenient! Ya but nowhere near as good. But then again, I’m not going anywhere, so no one is gonna see me.

I prefer keeping my hair short. When it starts getting long, the hair on the sides of my head starts puffing out like Bozo the Clown. It’s not a good look and when I wake up in the morning, it looks even worse. When I was working, I used to use a bit of product in my hair to keep the Bozo hair tamed.

I just find it to be itchy when it gets too long- i hate that feeling

If you let it keep growing it gets past the Bozo stage and gravity helps.

Well, Doug Ford is contemplating extending the lockdown/ stay at home order to June 1st. So I’m gonna have to reschedule my hair appointment again.
I’ve got the clippers here at home now, I’m gonna ask the missus to cut it tomorrow. Then I should be good till early-mid June.

My wife did a great job today....used a #4 (1/2”) on the back and sides and a #6 (3/4”) on the top. I dropped the clippers back off at my sons house and he was impressed. He may get her to cut his hair this weekend.

I'm saving many bucks by not getting a haircut for over a year.

Same with Ontario....barbershops and hairdressers are closed....non- essential. Tell that to a woman whose grey roots are starting to show!

If it doesn’t cost $50-60, it’s not good! I’ve been telling her to let it grow out as I know a few women her age that have just decided to go gray and they look good!

I've never dyed my hair and don't plan to. My wife is torn in the subject, as she had red hair and the first wisps of grey are coming in, but not really noticeable yet

Ya, I’m getting the salt and pepper effect on my head although my goatee is pretty much grey. It doesn’t bother me. My wife started going grey in her mid twenties but she said her dad had white hair for as long as she can remember. She once showed me a picture of her as a baby and her dad looked exactly the same as I knew him.

I may check this week to see if I can get anything for June or July--I go outside or lean over & all I see is my hair--and it gets in my mouth. SO I may keep it long, but get it cut to keep it out of my face--without resorting to a mullet.

I've just gone without haircuts during the lockdowns. The last haircut I had was in March. Haircutting places opened back up last week, but with wait times, waiting in parking lots, waiting for your call, etc, now might be the time I try buzzing it myself. I can't quite bring myself to do it yet, but every day I'm getting closer.

My wife cut mine 2 weeks ago with the clippers…1/2” sides and back, 3/4” on top. Feels pretty short and cool for the summer.
