Marillion has been around since the 80s. They just never hit in the US. I love their first few records.

I remember when that came out, Skidney....
The first I posted in this thread "Sounds....Made" is one of my all time favorites, lyrics and music...
The guitarist is incredible, plays exactly what is called for at that precise point in time and plays it dead on...
The stuff "he doesn't play" is also incredible. (think it out) Partly why they are so clean, clear, and tight...
Pete Trewavas is a killer bassist but plays much more subdued than he does in Transatlantic with Neal Morse, Roine Stolt, and Boba Fett Portnoy... That is also a mind blowing band to the max...
I think Marillion a band of textures and lyrics...
