Speaking of weight, this is the rig that I just put together: How much does that rig weigh?

As the old saying goes: "If you have to ask, you can't afford it."
I said never again after unloading (literally) my Mesa Roadster. Great amp, but north of 100 lbs in 212 combo format. Any amp that has a pair of handles on the sides tells you it ain't gonna be a one man job. I got so sick of asking my bass player for help and losing that little bit of superiority I enjoyed over him every time he asked me to help him move his rig. Homey don't do that no more.
Heavy guitars though? I still sling 10 lb Les Pauls (2 of them, 1 has a Bigsby which adds a pound) and an 8.5 lb Bigsby-equipped Tele. I play them all night without concern, I've never had problems doing it maybe because I've played that one 10 lb LP since 1977. To me, that's just what a LP is supposed to weigh.
My Gretsch, Exporer and ES335 are my light guitars, and two of those have Bigsbys too. So I have options if I don't feel up to it (especially in the heat, it seems - I sweat a lot more under the strap with a heavier guitar).

Yep- when my Ampeg V-4 was a VT-22 combo amp it was also north of 100 lbs. Once I had to carry that thing up stairs and it literally broke blood vessels in my hand. After that I had it cut down into a head amp. That said, even the head amp is probably around 70 lbs, so it doesn't leave the house much, except for the occasional "spa weekend" at a service techs every few years.

Speaking of weight, this is the rig that I just put together: How much does that rig weigh? Ni idea. The cab is more cumbersome than it is heavy. The head on the other hand weighs a ton.
