Pretty dreary day with a little drizzle thrown in. Been hovering around 35 degrees.
I was replacing a faucet cartridge on my shower this morning when I realized the set screw was stripped. I went in and visited the machinist where I used to work and he re-threaded the knob and gave me a new set screw.....good to go for another 15 years. Saved me about 50 bucks.

Looks quite bright out there with a temp of 38. Did manage to get a short walk in yesterday. Temp is supposedly going down next week with chances of snow. The UK had some occurrences of Thundersnow yesterday. This is an unusual kind of thunderstorm with snow falling as the primary precipitation instead of rain. It typically falls in regions of strong upward motion within the cold sector of an extratropical cyclone, whatever that means. Disruption after 'thundersnow' hits Scotland

They tend to use Centigrade over here, but I still prefer 'real money' I have two weather apps on phone, so I set one to C the other to F
It's a cold start here with temp currently at 33F or just over freezing

We use the metric system here in Canada but many people here are American and still use the old “farvenugenn” scale. Like you I’ve got my weather link set up so that I get the local weather in Celsius and the weather at the airport, 10 miles away, in Fahrenheit. it’s going to be mainly sunny here, high 32. Currently 19 and quite frosty on the windshields.

Severe (for us) drop in temp this morning. Was just over 28 when I got up. It's risen a bit to 31 but with a slight wind outside, it's real 'taters' weather. Supposed to warm up tomorrow

Frost on the windows this morning and cool. Currently sunny and 25, heading up to 34.
I went out to scrape the frost off of my wife’s car and warm it up before she headed out. I got a low brake fluid message when I started it, so I topped it up...hopefully it’s not a leak.

I thought it was a pretty good way to get the members here bonded in a common subject that we all experience. so, once John joined us, I asked him to start another weather thread. when I left gibson-talk, the weather thread was about 500 pages and going strong.

You can't drive over the border BUT you're allowed to fly in as long as you quarantine foe 14 days! I'd come and help but I've got a prior commitment that day....whatever day it is!
