I never had much luck with dod stuff, but that was back in the day. Not sure what their pedals are like these days.

I had a DOD "Phaser." Made a great door stop after it died. It lasted a month.

Mine was as old fx series overdrive pedal, tube driver I think, what a turd. I remember thinking it sounded better turned off.

Playing metal I used a boss equalizer with various distortion pedals over the years. The equalizer, for me anyway was the secret to getting a good compressed metal tone. I learned that trick reading about some of dimebags earlier set-ups. The dod pedal never saw the practice space. Back then there wasn't the wide selection like there is today with everyone making pedals. I used a boss metal-zone for a while. I also had one by zoom which also hit file 13.
