Like The Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd are one of the only two bands that I cannot become bored of and I figured it was about time that this place had some Skynyrd content. It still amazes me that their entire catalog (well the entire catalog of the pre-crash incarnations of the band) was created in just four short years. I can only imagine what else they would have recorded were it not for the tragedy.

Coming from the southeast I've heard about all the skynyrd I can take. Don't get me wrong, I love the band and I've covered some of their classics more times then I can count. It's just that in the southeast you get beat to death with them.

Phil Collins was a great artist but his stuff was so overplayed for so many years that I hated his new songs the instant they were released. Even the very first time I'd hear one of his new songs I was already thinking 'oh fuck off'.

Yeah they got a lot of play around here too, but I still enjoy listening to Tuesday's Gone

The last band I was in played a bunch of LS. We played them well, but, the vocals sucked.

We did average with LS tunes considering I was the only guitar player.
