Like a little brother to my AC15! I picked up this pathfinder 10 from L&M for $90 last weekend, its pretty cool, the volumes are alot more reasonable than my ac15(but it still gets freaking loud for a 6.5" speaker!). Its a solid state amp, so the overdrive channel is meh at best, but its usable for quiet practice without shaking the house down. Snapped a quick pic Excellent little practice amp so far, the price is right if you ask me. I didnt want all the modelling gimmicks of things like the line 6 amps and the samll fenders, and I also wanted something small that could sit on my desk, like the thr10, but cheaper, and this fills the need! It also has a headphone output, which is a huge bonus. Ill take a sound demo later, but Im sure theres plenty on youtube as it is. Basically, if youre looking for a small practice amp and like Vox sounds, get this thing, its cleans sound very much so like my ac15, well worth the $90 IMO

I have never played on a vox amp, I'm in the market for a small practice amp right now, I'll take a look at the pathfinder. I can't stand modeling amps, I have a line 6 flextone combo collecting dust in my practice room.

Yea, I love the phaser, next up I need a flanger, but I also need a wah, wince my pawn shop $30 cheap out route wasnt great. it was a broken mount for the switch inside, so as soon as you depress it, the pot that controls the signal falls out and it doesnt work like it should. probably would cost more to get it repaired than to get another one. The pathfinder is definitely worth a look though, I find that most modelling amps are far too harsh sounding for my taste, but this one seems to be suiting me just fine. Super basic, just the way I like it on an amp

Congrats, Pathfinders are great amps.
I had a 15R and traded it in towards something else at my local L&M. A friend saw it, not realizing it had been mine, and told their guitar tech (also a friend of mine) about it. So the tech bought it and put it in his workroom as the amp he uses to test whatever guitars he has repaired. He runs it through a 1x12 and the thing sounds absolutely incredible. If you heard him, you would swear he was playing through a tube amp rather than a little SS amp. Then again, he is a great player so that plays a hell of a role in the sounds he gets. He was asked to play the Steve Howe parts in a Yes tribute show so that should give you an idea of how good a player he is.

My Vox is the Lil' Night Train and it sounds good. Uses a 12AU7 (I am using a 12BH7) as a power tube, about 2 watts into 16 Ohms.
