it's there already in the tool area. you gotta upload it, and it's gotta be less than 1Mb, but you can do it

So how about Youtube links? 1 Mb for images? Really? Get what you pay for, I guess.

So how about Youtube links? The fifth or sixth icon in from the right (it looks like one of those things that people on movie sets snap when they say 'action'). Just click on it and a box will appear. Insert the URL and it will post the video for you. I am not sure if that is something that the software dictates or if it is something that we can change. The mods and I can look into it and, if we can change it, we will. We are still figuring things out as we go so there will be some teething pains as we move along. It was just easier to go with a free service. If the forum grows we can consider migrating to a pay service, but that is in the future.

OK, I just checked and the file size for images cannot be changed when we are using the free service. It seems that we are also limited to 10GB of bandwidth per month. If we start approaching that limit we will have to look into paying for a higher limit. But let's see how our first month goes before we make any decisions.

Those buggers can soak up bandwidth in no time at all.

I am in the process of adding some info to the 'Welcome!' message that I posted when I created the forum (it will be posted shortly) and I mention this issue in that.

is there any way to see our bandwidth usage on a regular basis? and instead of inserting the videos we can link to them and open them up from youtube instead of from here.... that way we get to see them but don't use the bandwidth

is there any way to see our bandwidth usage on a regular basis? I poked around a bit. I could find analytics but couldn't find bandwidth info. I will keep checking though. An excellent idea.

I just checked and cannot quite figure out how much we have used. I am not sure if the 10GB per month limit is for usage or storage. Thus far the only image that shows as contributing to our limit is one Lyrica posted (and the amount is miniscule). If I cannot figure it out myself I will email the hosting company for info. Alternatively, there is a support forum so I can poke around there to try and find out.
