Holy Cow...
Bought an amp from L& M a couple of years ago for $899.00
Just visited their website as I`m interested in a Headrush MX5.
Haven`t played in a year, so haven`t been watching prices
A Traynor YCV20WR is now $1346.00.

Used prices have become insane too. That's why I've been selling for the past year. Take advantage of the market.

I have a couple of acoustics and one partscaster that have to go, or so I`ve told myself.
Having a hard time here selling good guitars. Went through 12 acoustics to end up with 3 i kept in the end.

I've got a few amps that are totally redundant. I waited a few years to say that but now, I know I could live with just the Kemper. I still have a few amps I won't part with just yet (my beloved LSS and TA15) but I should sell my DRRI, Traynor YBA1-Reissue and a couple others.
If anyone knows someone in Lower Mainland BC looking for a deal on amps, hit me up. I'm not keen on shipping an amp but I'd be happy to sell person-to-person.

Got some concerning stares from the room mate once I started practicing with an electric and an amp. I guess if it ain`t acoustic and country or blues it`s a problem. Just dropped some coin on these 2 items...should be fun.

I love my Kemper for headphone practice.
It ain't pant-flappin', but I ain't 25 anymore either. My wife tells me she hardly needs the noise-canceling headphones anymore when we practice, we've gotten so much quieter since Covid and growing up, etc.

I love my Kemper for headphone practice. Anderton`s Music Store made videos when they were doing the hard sell on Kemper a few years ago. I watched a couple of hours of it actually. Amazing machines, very nifty, with a great reputation. It ain't pant-flappin', but I ain't 25 anymore either. I wanted to avoid the dreaded "pedal pit of endless purchases"... so I`m a tryin`an all in one box. Going cheap initially to see what it`s about.
Looking forward to having a rhythm track as well, regardless of how bad it is, considering that all I have is the tried and true wood box metronome!
Doing a deep dive on the software I think is pretty much mandatory, so I hope it`s mapped well.

One problem I have with the Kemper now is I've become dependent on it. Whereas before, as a band, we would go out and jam and I could just plug a pedal board into backline, I can hardly do that anymore. I've built some patches/performances that allow me to make radical sound changes for specific songs. I can't do that with any pedalboard I own (I have 3) or any I'm likely to build up. It would need to be very large and MIDI controlled. I'm compelled to take my Kemper out whenever we jam now. It's not a huge burden --- less than a MIDI pedalboard --- but it is frustrating. I could still go old school but some songs would be half-assed without the more complex switching. I don't think the bassplayer and drummer feel my pain. That said, I am enjoying a MIDI-like level of complexity that I didn't think I'd ever be able to afford. These are the good ol' days! Rockstarrin' like a Martian.

Lovin` the multi-effects unit I purchased. Best $450.00 I`ve spent in a long time.
Easy to navigate, found 2 presets in the first 20 minutes that got me into playing a couple of Stones songs. The looper and beat box are dead easy to use...perfect for a know nothing dude such as myself.
My home made Tele seems to like it. To me the guitar sounds better through the Mooer and headphones, than it did through my Traynor amp(YCV20WR).
I won one...yea me!
