Any thoughts on the mysteries?

Mystery one: Any guitar shaped like a Tele has some of that Tele sound to it.
Well since I'm not into Teles as much (For my playing that is--noot listening--if you're playing--play whatever you want), I am not sure about it. But I can see his point.
Since we do have some Tele lovers here I'm wondering if any of you have noticed this...

Never played a tele but that makes sense to me.

Well maybe someone will add more about Teles later.
So second mystery: Where do plectrums go?
I often can find them, but there are times I will have a pick a different contrasting colour to the floor, I drop it--I see where it landed and bounced, but then I cannot find it.
I think they turn into those extra Tupperware lids we seem to have that don't match any containers.

He is probably right on this. I've owned 3 Fender Telecasters and currently have my Trussart Steelcaster. They all share a similar sound, which is slightly different to my LPs.

Mystery #3 is not so much a mystery in some ways "Why am I not getting any better?" He gives a good rundown of playing vs practicing Both are good and both have benefit. But practicing is how you get better.
We don't always like to hear that

Mystery #4 How many guitars do you need? One more. No mystery actually I've been asked how many I need--usually when someone see them, or when they have helped me move. I answer--"one more" or "Just one more" Although I also often point out I know people who have more than I do--both personally & online. So compared to the average person with no guitar--or maybe one they got growing up--I guess I have a lot. Compared to the average guitar player, I normally have fewer. Compared to the average guitar forum member or Guitar related YouTuber? I'm way behind.

Mystery 5--audience reactions
I've seen this as an audience member A musician onstage plays something amazing & most people don't care. Then someone odes something I could have done in my sleep after playing for a few months & people go crazy.
Also when I did improv comedy, I had skits where I said things that got big laughs, that I was just advancing the narrative (Which is important in improv comedy) --yet people roared with laughter.
And yeah--in some cases people compliment you profusely when you know you made a ton of mistakes.
In a way it goes to show you...
