I do have a classical guitar--it's what I used when I started to learn guitar. I still have it & I still love it. It is a different feel & a different sound So here's an article for an overview intro to nylon strings So anybody else have a nylon string guitar? What strings do you use? I use Augustine Reds as that was what my teacher at the time recommended I think he planned to switch me to blues (the strings, not the genre) after a bit--but he stopped teaching before that & I stuck with reds--and when I took classical lessons as an adult, that teacher didn't use those strings, but thought they suited my playing. They seem to be pricey at most stores, but I found a store that has them for a good price.

Unfortunately no classical guitar anymore. I really need to get another one someday

Never owned one and to be honest can’t remember ever having played one in all my years of playing. So no advice from me, I’m afraid

Many years ago, I almost bought a nylon string Ovation that was identical to my steel string Ovation Balladeer….I same tobacco burst colour and same vintage (give or take a year or two). I slept on it for a few days and when I went back it was gone.

And I find sometimes when I miss out on one thing, something better comes along after (Like with my fretless)
