Is there are guitar part that isn't available right now that you'd like to see someone making?
I was thinking about this earlier, and I wish Fender would bring back the MIJ Contemporary Strat Type III locking nut. It had a quick-release handle that let you ease the tension if you wanted to tune. It was definitely the best-thought out locking nut I've ever seen. I've seen a couple of those Strats for sale with broken handles on the nuts, so there's probably some material or design issue that could be sorted out. But it's a unique part that I can see people being interested in as a retro-fit upgrade. Whammy Parts apparently looked into it but decided it wouldn't be cost effective. They've designed a retrofit for those old Type III Contemporary Strats that's a carbon copy of the Floyd Rose-style locknut with multiple Allen-keyed screws (I hate those things so I'd definitely spend the extra dough for the quick-release model).
How 'bout you guys......Anything you'd like to see somebody manufacturing?

None these days. I have sufficient guitars, that luckily don't need anything other than strings

I can think of a few things that we'd benefit from if they were more commonly available as aftermarket parts. The bass control circuitry on G&L instruments would be a great after-market add-on to be able to purchase. I realize maybe stuff like this can be cobbled together by people who have more electronics background, but for electronically-challenged enthusiasts who want to assemble partscasters, this would be a great item.

Some companies will see you necks & some won't. And then there's Warmoth & their licensed necks as well.
