It's a bit like Peter Frampton with his LP Custom he lost in a cargo plane crash in 1980. It actually survived the crash and eventually came back to him 30 years later

As an archtop player, I'd love to get a Gretsch but I think my collection will go down before it goes up again. And as far as being greedy goes- Imagine how many guitars we would all have, if we had his money!

It actually survived the crash and eventually came back to him 30 years later I kind of think this is more amazing--because who knew if it survived. But both his & Randy's stories are happy endings--as are others. May all who lose guitars to any means have happy endings
