Plan started as get a small compact couch amp like the Yamaha and I ended up with a 100 watt box; it can be no other way ... lol A couple days more and you would have talked yourself up to a full stack. Actually, there's time enough yet

And the winner is - the 57 Custom Deluxe but then it cost five times as much as the Katana. It's hard to beat the tube amp sound but I really like the Katana. Getting some nice tone out of it but haven't got into the patches and so on; just turned it on and messed with the knobs so far. The Super Champ was bad and I never used it; the Katana sounds good as a couch amp and even though I haven't been able to let it rip yet I'm sure it would be fine as a 100 watt gargle blaster jam amp. So a good buy and it looks good too.

I had valid reasons for buying an SS amp that still stand, but it will never beat and of my tube amps for tone

I am regularly comparing my Kemper to my tube amps. For fine tuning reason, if no others. The Kemper stands up pretty well, tone-wise.
I still love my Mesa LSS more. It's just a great amp for what I do. But that Kemper ---- the longer I mess with it, the closer it gets.

Finally got around to installing the Tone Studio. It works but I had to upgrade the firmware in the amp to get it going.
Messed with the Blues Driver and saved that setting to the amp.
This is a really good amp. Works great with my Broadcaster and 335.

That one looks different than the one that I have. It definitely would need the label. I don’t know why Boss doesn’t throw the label in the box with the amp itself as they seem to change the pedal labeling every few years to match their newer amps.. Mine came with the labels. For a moment I was wondering what it was and why in the hell they would think I was gonna stick that on my guitar case and then I realized what it was for.

I bought the floor model 100 with footswitch at Sherwood Music, Kitchener. They tossed the box which the amp came in, along with the label. I emailed Roland explaining the situation and they sent me two.

The switch is tempting but these days all I have to do is reach over and push the button.
I think its gonna be a long time before I go anywhere that I'll need a foot switch.
