MF had a 15% coupon event so I treated myself to a new gig bag for my archtops. I have one that I was never really happy with and finally I can replace it with this one.
It is a black mono M80 jumbo acoustic case- the biggest one they make. Initial impressions are very good. Good padding and storage all around

I just checked that out...nice case. Expensive, but nice! It is a nice case. For the price it is disappointing that it is made in China, but otherwise it seems very high quality

I don't mind where stuff is made as long as it's good quality. If that bag was made in US or UK it would probably be twice the price

I guess you could call this an acoustic dread case- I think the jumbo is just their size classification

Tons of little storage pockets in this thing.

Loads of fabulous pockets though. Yeah I like how they integrated the pick pocket into the strap to hold the neck- lots of little things like that

You are probably right, but I still wonder why a $200+ gig bag couldn't be manufactured here. Like John said, they would be double the cost. By building in China, their profit margin increases considerably. Keeps shareholders happy!

I guess you could call this an acoustic dread case- I think the jumbo is just their size classification Could be Gig bags don’t have to be form fitting like some cases So while jumbo guitars have narrower waists & rounder shoulders than dreads, their size & shape should allow them to fit in the same gig bags

The requirement here was ability to fit a 17" lower bout, which it definitely does fit
