I am seriously considering buying a Sheraton II. There is also a Dot in the store that just sings so I will have to compare the two side by side. The Dot is half the price of the Sherry but the Sherry is a better looking guitar. The neck on it is thick as hell too.

Much better than my Gibby LP which is damn nice. Next time yer back home I'll give yi a gander at the wee darling. (Oh sailor)

My old 89 was MiK, and it played every bit as good as my 73 LP -- and was more stable, I didn't have to do a setup every spring and fall when the weather changed. The neck was super skinny, which I normally don't like, but I never felt fatigued on it.

My... nephew in law?... has a G400 (of unknown vintage) as his only electric. I've heard him play it, and that guitar sounded great to me! I never played it. When I saw that one, I had only been playing guitar for about three weeks and so wouldn't have been able to say anything at all about how well it played or any of that. Couldn't have been too bad, though-- the kid was smokin' it. Looked like an SG, sounded like an SG... I found nothing bad to say about the instrument. Back then I didn't even know what a "corksniffer" was, though I did quickly figure all that out after seeing what some folks sound like while talking about instruments. Very nice ax. I'm happy you're happy with yours, Schidney! --Rob
