I'm originally from Maine, but live in Massachusetts. I have lived in Maryland and Florida when I was in the Military. I've lived in Kansas and Texas own homes in both states. Married a Texan, but she is more NorthEastern than Texan. I've done a lot of work in Minneapolis/St.Paul when I traveled for work. I enjoyed going there even during dead of winter. I like to go to Osaka by the airport for Sushi and the 5-8 Club for a Juicy Lucy. There was another place I don't remember the name.. Oh and MSP was the first place I was asked how I wanted my duck cooked. The question kind of through me and then it was explained to me that ducks aren't raised in the cramp conditions as chicken. I didn't care I wanted it done all the through

I'll be 69 in December.

I was born in Wales, a couple of centuries ago, but now reside in Brackley, which is almost in the middle of England. Been playing since the late 50s, so can just about tune up. Still playing in the group I formed in 1963. We reformed in 2013 to celebrate 50 years and hopefully will play again after this virus goes away. A poster for the reunion gig with a 1964 publicity pic. All in pic are still alive and 4 currently playing in the band with one guy as a reserve. The other lives in Australia, so a bit far to come

Me in 63 when I had hair Wow, that’s awesome you guys are still playing. I couldn’t help but look up your band and found that you had a pretty good following not only in your area but over in parts of Europe. I was wondering, how close to the top of the mountain did you guys get?

One of the bands we supported in 1965, the Mojos, invited us up to London. Their singer wanted to go into management. Anyway we went and spent all day with him trying to get us to sign a contract. We didn't as we were enjoying ourselves too much. The next year, the Mojos invited another Welsh band to their house. They did sign and the Iveys became Badfinger. Ok we were perhaps not as talented as the likes of Pete Ham, but you never know. Our singer joined Judas Jump when our band packed in. They did get to play the Isle of Wight festival in 1970. He also went on to work in music promotions with the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Michael Jackson and many others.

yeah, Badfinger was a great band, but sadly they were mis-managed and were robbed of their monies owed to them. last I heard, the one remaining member, Joey M., was living some where here in the Minneapolis area.

I'm in Ontario Canada, just outside of Toronto.
I was born here, but we moved back to Scotland when I was a few months old and lived there for a few years before returning to Canada. I have been here ever since returning as a child except for stays in London (four months here, six months there).
I kind of have an urge to move back to the UK, in the Midlands somewhere, but don't know if I will ever actually do it.

I felt at home. my ancestors are from there. my direct ancestor was the brother of William Wallace.

Get the relative who researched the family tree to check again. I'm a historian, and a former professor and friend of mine is an expert on Wallace so I've been involved in some long talks on the subject of Wallace. Virtually nothing about his family is known. In fact, there is no agreement among historians as to who his father even was or where in Scotland he came from. Some say Renfrewshire, others say Ayrshire (where my family is from and there is probably some truth to that as one of his his first attacks on the English allegedly took place in Ayr, the town that my Mum is from and where I lived as a kid). There are also those historians who think there is a possibility that he didn't come from Scotland at all, and in fact came from either Cumbria or Wales. Here are two of Graeme's books on Wallace: www.amazon.ca/gp/product/0748685634/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_taft_p1_i0www.amazon.ca/gp/product/0750935235/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_taft_p1_i3

It was at the start of the festival Brent, on the Wed, which intended for 'newer' artists, the likes of Supertramp & Terry Reid. Judas Jump were in fact the opening act. Back then people in UK tended to go for the whole festival rather than single days. The crowd was estimated at around 600,000 - 700,000. At the time, it was reckoned to be the largest human gathering on earth, beating Woodstockhttps://www.thisdayinmusic.com/liner-notes/isle-of-wight-festival/

I'm located near Salem, Oregon in the good ol' USA. This is great motorcycle riding land around here, when it isn't raining! We are in a big valley. With a 2 hour's ride, depending which direction we head, we can be at the coast, in the desert, or rolling through some beautiful mountains. Beautiful country.

Never been to Oregon but I sometimes go to the seattle area for work. My wife and I ride, riding up here is fun but can be treacherous. There are some beautiful rides up here as well.

Excelent! I've been up to Alaska and was very impressed. Nice territory.
Oh, since I mentioned the beautiful mountains here in Oregon, I should mention that they have been devastated by wildfires this year. Several small towns near us that we used to ride through, and stop in for gas, food and beverages have been wiped off the map. 2020 has been horrendous in many ways.

I'm located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, not far from Toronto. I was born here, grew up here, met my wife here and I'll probably die here too! Been playing guitar since 1969. I worked 43 years as a mechanical engineer for a couple of automotive parts suppliers and decided to retire back in July when our company decide to close down and move our facility. I'm currently playing in a band with a few old high school buddies but due to the pandemic, we haven't played since the end of February since all the bars are closed. I'm really itching to fire up the amps and start playing again but it's best that we get things under control first.

I was born on the Niagara Peninsula and lived there till I was in my mid-teens. My family moved to Vancouver Island and I've been here ever since. Since I retired, I've been living near the water in Maple Bay (about 30 miles north of Victoria). Getting ready to move now since the house I've been in for 17 years has just been sold. Not going far...about 3 miles, but losing my view of the water and Salt Spring Island. It's a strange feeling, since I've been in the suite longer than anywhere else, so I kinda feel like I'm losing my home. And apartment rentals are so tight here on the Island that everything's out of my price range on a pensioner's income, so I'm becoming a roommate, living in one room. It'll be different.

You should move back here Ken. There’s some nice apartments in St. Catharines overlooking the lake and you’d be close to your childhood home in Thorold. Hell, we could get together and jam too as I’d be 20-25 minutes away!
