Well that's Germany--were you ordering strudel or kuchen or something else? My in laws and other friends send us packages with stuff we can't get here. Chocolates, pflaumentoffel, all kinds of stuff. Sometimes the packages don't arrive, sometimes they are missing items

Well, the customs inspectors might eat them. You joke- but we have received quite a few shipments from Germany that were missing items. Happens with baggage too from Germany We sent 3 parcels, mainly Xmas presents for the you granddaughter. to our son & he sent one back to us. All were delivered by DPD and 3 out of the 4 had been opened. One had been resealed with DPD tape and the other 2 had holes in the corners.
Nothing had been broken or stolen, but to me it looks like someone had been looking to see if any valuables in there to steal. Either that or they had been throwing them in and out of the vehicles. Don't think I'll be using them again.

Were still waiting from a package from Germany from my inlaws that was sent in November. I expect the worse at this point

Well delays are to be expected, and Customs can check packages--but those things don't excuse the abuses.

And speaking of abuses--raisins do not belong in cookies.

My daughters boyfriend brought us some lovely sea salt caramels with dark chocolate- dee-lish Oh man, we’ve been thru 3 jars of those in the last month. There’s about 25-30 one inch cubes in each and I’m sure that their chewiness isn’t helping my TMJ....my jaw’s been killing me.

My wife and I received a sh!t load of chocolate. The one neighbour whose driveway we shovelled, came and brought us a jumbo Kit Kat bar as well as a little box of Ferraro Rocher to thank us for helping her out. All our nieces and nephews gave us wines and more chocolates. Holy crap! I’m diabetic and I love chocolate but I gotta be careful with it

I was good this year, I didn't eat too much chocolate, but I made it up with whipped cream. My wife got me a fancy whipped cream dispenser with NO² cartridges and we used an awful lot of it!

And that's why raisins are so pernicious--forma distance they can look like chocolate chips.

When I get home I’m going to go thru chocolate withdrawals, might need to seek help. Between chocolate bars, sea salt caramels, boxes of Lindt chocolates and Ferrero Rochers...we must have about 15 lbs of chocolate in this house. I may have to re-gift it for Valentines Day!

Well after 3 days of overindulging, I checked my blood sugar this morning and it was just slightly above my normal reading. I thought it was gonna be extremely high.
Bring on the chocolate!!!!!
