While I'm all for personal choice- maletits don't do it for me, let the record show.
I admit, I'm biased.

What happened to the tits? Titties and beer (free or modestly priced) are god's gift to mankind, dammit! I'm not so sure about that - man boobs are titties too. Do you really want to see those here? What!!!! Man boobs are man boobs, they do not qualify as titties, and if they have hair on them they don't qualify as boobs either. Lets take a closer look at this total disrespect of the female breast by looking at the differences between the two. First off, the "man boob" is nothing more then a fat storage area for all us overweight, overeating, beer drinking fat asses. The fat collects in the breast area until the once proud male chest begins to droop and then bang...man boobs. It is nothing more and nothing less. The female breast however was designed and constructed completely different. The biggest difference is the nipple, aside from its size (usually larger) and its appearance, they actually have a function unlike the worthless male nipple. Of course the female nipple and tittie as a whole have a couple of "off label" functions that i won't get into but i'm sure we all know what those are. In short, lets show some respect to the female anatomy by not referring to man boobs as titties.

Perhaps I should have said "nods in agreement" to distinguish between that, and nodding off. If that is indeed an impression someone may have perceived.

Two new members in 2020? Wow!
Well, I'm here for what good that'll do. I've invited a few others. Sgt. Rock got me to have a look.

Welcome.. It's a little quiet here, hopefully it won't be much longer. I visit daily, but don't have much to say.

Let people know the place was active, died down, but that we're looking for new blood to get the place moving again so they shouldn't let the recent lack of activity deter them.

Sadly one look at the threads and they will see for themselves. I wish you all well. I’ll hang around for a time nonetheless. I’m a MLP member not pleased with two of the moderators. There was a recent shake up there that left several of us disinterested. Two people I reached out to seemed wary of joining another forum. Forums are dying out as FB and Twitter rule. I’m on neither and never will be.

There was a recent shake up there that left several of us disinterested. Two people I reached out to seemed wary of joining another forum. Forums are dying out as FB and Twitter rule. I’m on neither and never will be. I’m not a Facebook person either. I joined a couple years ago and it lasted about a month, that was enough for me, for more reasons than I care to get in to. The original members of this forum, myself included were all mlp refugees, a couple people are still there. I made a lot of friends while I was there but got myself permanently banned for recruiting for this forum. The idea here is a good one and has worked out as planned only we can’t seem to build enough following to keep anyone’s interest. The idea being a place to talk guitars of course but also a place to speak your mind without the fear being berated by other members or have a hammer thrown down. I suppose most forums start out that way then they grow and things change. I’ve been away from mlp for a couple years so I have no clue what things are like there now. Anyway, there is only a handful of us that check in and out around here now and any new member we get is a huge deal. So whatever you do don’t quit, I understand there’s not much going on here right now but just stop in every now and then and post something. I’m not sure how to go about increasing traffic around here but I’m going to give it my best shot. One of the problems with this place is that it’s word of mouth pretty much, obscure for lack of a better word. Anyway, thanks for taking time out to join.

I don't do FB either. been tempted. anyway, I've been trying to get some interest started by commenting and starting threads. there are a lot of forums out there and most are "specialized", i.e. Fender, Les Paul, Gretsch, etc.. here, we are general subject type. so, for now, I guess, we just keep plugging along.

For what it's worth, I was actually in a band once that we called "FREE BEER - NO COVER." The band didn't last long, but it sure looked good on the Marquee!
Stay tuned, Stan

I've contacted a few of my friends from the now-defunct AxeTalk forum and invited them to join us. Hopefully that'll bring some new people.

I was wondering if you had any idea why some of these guitar forums are going under. When the new owners of the TDPRI took over, they had about a dozen forums running. I think they just decided to consolidate. They just started shutting them down without warning. Fender Talk and Gibson Talk were two of them. On Gibson Talk, they screwed it up so that you couldn't find the home page. I found a back door into it and tried to message/email people the link. John Reardon stayed for a while but he found getting on to be difficult. Stan (Saguitar) stayed on as did a few others. Ken (spellcaster) found us one day and we kept going for a few months longer until they just shut it down. If you tried to log on, it would bring up MLP and if you tried to get on to Fender Talk, you'd be redirected to the TDPRI.

The worst part is that they didn't keep the posts for historic purposes. They could have moved them to the new forums. There was some good info there.

I never joined the forum. I figured I belonged to enough forums at the time. gretsch-talk, strat-talk, squier-talk, gibson-talk. and tdpri

Welcome Zontar! I’m a newbie here too but I know some of these guys, including Ken (spellcaster) who recruited you from other forums that have shut down. We’ve got a good bunch of guys here.

Bill knows of the workings of Alex from MLP. Alex is only interested in making money. and gibson-talk never did really get off the ground. John Reardon and I were part of getting Strat-Talk off the ground. Squier-talk took off on it's on(I kinda helped with that). I still have some of my threads going over there. the main thing is - y'all are here now and we're very glad.

Well I'm still just taking a look around. I am a night owl so I may normally be on here late--btu that also means I may get tired & not be here sometimes. And I should probably go get some sleep and explore more later on.
But thanks for the welcomes.
It was odd when Axe Talk ended--some people quit because it kept not working. But spell & I & a couple others seemed to be there until the end.

Hi everyone, I was the mod over at AxeTalk until the bitter end- then I went into "retirement" from forums. SC invited me over so I figured I would drop in and say "hi" and look around dB
